Posted : 7/20/2010 Comments : Dear Mark and staff: I want to thank you all for all the help and support you have provided to us throughout the past 12 years. My "difficult" dogs would not have made it as often as they did without the gentle hand of all of you there. Cinder appreciates all the tenderness you gave her when she came in to visit, whether for shots or traumas. We will all miss you and hopefully when I am down that way I can find the time to come in and say hello. Thank you all again for making our vet experiences a nice experience. Posted : 3/2/2009 Comments : Dr. Mark....I'm sure you know how great all your staff are, and I have nothing but admiration for all of them, but I have to tell you that Tasha really goes beyond the call of duty in term of patience and helpfulness! I don't know how many times I've called with a question(s) and every time she is friendly, attentive, patient and always gets back to me with an answer(s) if she can't give me an immediate one (which, in fact, she often can). I can't imagine working in any kind of receptionist position, having to deal with the often demanding public, in person and on the phone, day in and day out, but she does it brilliantly. I know she's much more than a receptionist, but I am very impressed with how she handles that part of her job. I always found your opinion and advice to be fair, fact-based and realistic. I know you may have had your own thoughts on decisions we made, but was always sensitive to where we were as owners and what was possible for us to do or not do with care. I know you truly cared for Hollywood and always had his best interest at heart, and because of that I always trusted your advice and judgement. Take care of yourself and I hope you have an awesome holiday season with your family. Thank you so very much for the card regarding Scooter and for your kindness and understanding. We've always considered ourselves fortunate to have chosen Valley Veterinary Services for our cats' health care and felt secure in the knowledge that Comet and Scooter were in capable and compassionate hands. We appreciated not only that, but also your patience, Mark, with the frequent phone calls and consultations (particularly with Comet's Diabetes) and your expert advice over the years. And Melissa, thank you for your cat-sitting. Our world feels very empty and wrong right now with the loss of Scooter - without the furs and purrs of our beloved cats - but we cat take some solace in knowing that, with your help, we gave our feline family the best care we could. We realize these endings aren't easy for any of you, either. You're in this profession because animals matter to you and, as we all know too well, doing the right thing can be difficult. That awareness only heightens the sense of teamwork we've felt through our association with you - and strengthens our admiration for everyone at Valley Vet. Posted : 10/6/2008 Comments : My cat Bobbin has undergone so much this year...radioactive iodine treatment for hyperthyroidism, dental cleaning and extractions and finally, treatment for chronic renal failure. I would like to thank all of the amazing staff of Valley Veterinary Services, and Dr. Klein in particular, for their patience, and expert care. It is always so clear to see that you have the best interests of my cat in mind. However, we have always had great service from you and recently we had to make the decision to send Fergus off to "a better place". That decision was made on short notice while we were here again on holidays. You were able to accommodate us and did so with the utmost tendernous and empathy. While I was so worried about him, your staff put my mind at ease. Thanks for letting me visit during his stay; I know it helped me more than it helped him. When he finally was allowed to come home I was even more worried that I would be able to take good care of him.
