Our office is fully computerized and your pet's medical records are maintained electronically.  This ensures that the medical records are complete, thorough and always legible....no need to worry about dreaded "doctor" handwriting when your pets medical record needs to be transferred if you move or if you are going for a specialist referral.

We maintain a fully stocked pharmacy so that we can provide you with all the medications that you will need.....we have access to special compounded drugs, nutritional supplements, deworming medications and more.

Our spacious treatment area has several work stations, a laboratory, surgical preparation area, surgical scrub area, and this dental treatment centre complete with isoflurane gas anesthesia, dental xray unit, surgical lighting, air driven dental equipment and brand new, state of the art iM-3 42-12 ultra-high frequency sonic scaling equipment and Digital Dental Xray system.  This is the latest instrumentation available in veterinary dentistry and is the only equipment that will allow safe removal of tartar from below the gumline without damaging the tooth, enamel, or tooth root ligaments.  Older technology cannot be safely used below the gumline and "jack-hammers" the enamel potentially causing injury to the tooth.  Digital xrays allow us to quickly and safely determine the health of teeth and surrounding tissue below the gumline.  We only employ the BEST, the SAFEST and the most ADVANCED veterinary dental equipment available.

Our state-of-the-art Medical Imaging suite allows for any xray procedure to be performed including barium contrast imaging, intravenous contrast studies and standard high-definition radiographs.  Our automated film processing means that we can view the films we take under 90 seconds.  Digital Ultrasound allows us to see inside the body in real-time.  We are able to assess nearly every organ as well as to assess heart function.  Endoscopy allows us to see inside airways and the upper gastrointestinal tract with a camera.




Our surgical suite is fully equipped, with cutting edge anesthesia equipment and the latest in anesthesia monitoring equipment including the ASM-5000v and VetSpecs blood pressure, respiratory, cardiac, pulse oximetry and body core temperature monitor.  This is the same equipment used in the surgeries at Ontario Veterinary College.   All of our anesthesia gas equipment is regularly checked, maintained and calibrated professionally by AVRS technicians







We have several patient wards.  This canine ward contains several large individual runs for your pets comfort and safety.  Each run is well lit, heated and superbly ventilated.  This ward contains a separate glass contained run to prevent spread of air borne pathogens.  Separate Isolation Ward prevents patients with infectious disease and those that are not fully-vaccinated coming into contact with other patients.










Patients that may have infectious disease enter our hospital via a separate entrance and are never in contact with the common areas where other patients will frequent.  This is part of our commitment to you to ensure that your pet gets the best care at all times.
