Surgery

We provide a broad range of surgical services in our state-of-the-art surgical suite.  We use only state-of-the art anesthesia monitoring equipment including the ASM-5000V which is the same multiparameter monitor that is employed by the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the Ontario Veterinary College.

Surgical preparation is carried out utilizing strict "sterile procedures" similar to human facilities including full sterile surgical scrubbing, gowning and patient preparation to reduce the likelihood of post-operative infection and to increase the potential for a positive surgical outcome.  While practice standards require that each facility adhere to these protocols and practices, day-to-day compliance is based on an "honour system".  Be assured that we voluntarily employ all of the advanced techniques and procedures at all times that help for a positive surgical experience.
